Why you still need to learn how to spell

Hey it’s Friday! How ’bout something fun and light for a change…

I’m sure most of you out there have run into some version of this and had a good chuckle. Here’s the one that I had found years ago:

A Poem Called ‘Spell Checker’

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea
Eye strike a quay and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong or write
It shows me strait a weigh
As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can putt the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong
Eye have run this poem threw
I am shore your pleas two no
Its let her perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew

Here’s the story behind this little jewel at About.com:
